SSC Hockey Club have now completed their Umpiring Level 1 Course which took place at the Braunstone Health & Social Care Centre last week & yesterday & to inform you that the first phase of the funding is now successfully spent. 30 people attended the course, out of the 30, 25 were youngsters (from the age of 15-25), there were also two Asian girls on the course; Henna & Nealam, if they're successful in the course they'll be the first Asian girls to achieve this, which we hope will inspire others to do the same.

The feedback from the group on both weeks was very positive - they said that the course was very enjoyable, educational (which they could adapt in School in some cases) and that they look forward to going on any further courses that the club organises.
